Basic Info BioOk, first, I'm not Catholic. The people of the Roman faith (& their friends) interest me.
Words, puzzles, games, correspondence--also things that interest me, though I'm more of a debunker than an initiate.
I don't bite. I don't even bark. Meaning: don't feel odd about saying HI.
Oh, and I'm all woman. Don't let the handsome men in my icons fool you.
About the username: "a lax wing wins" is an anagram of "waxwing slain" from Nabokov's Pale Fire. I think it suits the times we're in. A lax wing has won (for now); they did it through deception, producing a parhelion (mock sun) by refracting the sun's rays through a prism made of ice crystal. Their lies ("false azure in the window pane") have caused many people, in many ways, to "[knock] themselves out in full flight against the reflected world of [a] picture window" -- waxwings slain.
